The right time to reveal to people
that Ho Chi Minh was a Freemason
The month of Tet (Vietnamese new year) - whereas the communist leaders are preparing to the next decisive stages of the country openness, after successes of the 10th congress party and the entry of Vietnam in WTO, Jean-Luc Pérez, Executive President of Cercle de Reflexion des Nations - at the origin of the first Doctorate of Peace Administration (DPA) - estimates that it is the right time to reveal to the people that the Great Hô Chi Minh was Freemason.
"It is in 1919 in Paris that Hô Chi Minh, still named Nguyen Sinh Cung, met the Freemasonry. A spiritual influence which, beside of Confucius, contributed to model this outstanding personality, considered by people as Mahatma Gandhi of Asia and developing countries. Does the reading of freemasonry lights enhanced the life and the master-works of Hô Chi Minh?. Like an apprentice mason, he descended within himself to go up later towards the light. Forging his frail body, but invulnerable, in the deprivations of food imposed by the circumstances and the ill-treatments in jail.
Working his spirit by all means to achieve his goal: an intelligence practises but acute, made observations, directions of opportunity, risks calculations and weighing the force balance, to analyze the risks and the responses, Becoming, finally, a personality achieved, able to support humiliations and the reverses in the name of a luminous trajectory towards its only goal: the independence and reunification of its motherland. He varied spectacular events, psychological victories and built stone by stone, as a mason, the seven columns of the Temple of Freedom.
The greatness of the Vietnamese modern father of the nation lies on a spiritual approach of its combat, unshakable in ideology or politic. Its original vision of Vietnamese Communism creates so many pressures and oppositions on behalf of the two big communist brothers, Soviet Union and China. But the spiritual dimension of Hô Chi Minh was in the right path, in the name of the three fetishes words: independence, freedom and happiness. With right means resulting from the Confucianism but also from the freemasonry: purity of the heart, renunciation and humility, and the taste for justice and virtue.
To know that Ho Chi Minh, this patriot, resistant, communist and confucianist, was also freemason can open a third current of thought to the Vietnamese people and his Leaders. But to refer to the vision and the thought of this famous statesman which knew to disencumber the country of the colonial and to bring back the unification by an armed combat (point of difference with Mahatma Gandhi) -, it is also to bathe in the very broad river of a great soul.
A soul, by its values and its life, opened an exemplary way to all the still ravaged Vietnameses by their torn history; This example could also offer an issue by the top out of the traditional opposition communisme/liberalism. An issue at the level of the spiritual stature of the humble Uncle Hô ".
